- To equip young people with Peace Building and Conflict Resolution skills and offer a platform for mediation activities.
- To equip young people with Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights information and skills while linking them up with services.
- To equip young people with skills that will enable them to be come self employed and link them up with business funding opportunities and employment opportunities.
- To equip young people with leadership and good governance skills that will help them to become effective and patriotic leaders.

"We will have time to reach the Millennium Development Goals – worldwide and in most, or even all, individual countries – but only if we break with business as usual.
We cannot win overnight. Success will require sustained action across the entire decade between now and the deadline. It takes time to train the teachers, nurses and engineers; to build the roads, schools and hospitals; to grow the small and large businesses able to create the jobs and income needed.
